Water is the sustainer of life
Water is the sustainer of life. It is the liquid refreshment that keeps us cool, and nourished. The rule of thumb is you can survive 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, and 3 weeks without food. Water is the element for west, which is repeatability. Think of customers as dusty-dry thirsty people who long for a tall crisp, cool drink. Getting what they want and need at a minimal and basic level is like giving them a warm canteen with enough water to push back there immediate thirst. Giving them a customer service experience that they will remember and talk about is like giving them enough perfectly chilled pure mountain spring water to replenish there dry bodies for the next couple of days.
Ask customers about the state of customer service, and you will find that there is a drought going on. People are thirsty for great service, and businesses are just not delivering. The key to repeatability is training your staff to give great service every time, every customer. To do this leadership has to be providing the nourishment for the staff, and setting standards, and implementing strategies to make sure they are upheld. Just like the human need for water on regular basis, customers need to receive regular dose of great service to survive.
The law of Repeatability states that you have to be consistent in your products, communication, and service to customers. Your Authentic business should be able to serve everyone equally well, regardless of who’s doing the serving.
How consistent have you and your people been? Customers are thirsty.
